My daughter named her first hamster Hammy. She also called him Hamlet, Snickers and Hamburglar among other nicknames. He was a hamster of many names.

Zoey's pj's
We dressed up our dog Zoey in my son's Bob the Builder pajamas one day. You can tell by the look on her face that they definitely aren't her style.

Imagine
This is a layout of my son. I don't use black and white photos very often, so this was a real challenge for me, but I do like the way it turned out. The paper is from DCWV Stack 6.

Mow Guck Layout
I made this layout for my son's album. For some reason, he always called my dad's John Deere a "Mow Guck". He gets so excited when he gets to ride on it and runs around yelling, "Mow Guck!".

Hammy
This was my daughter's first hamster. She named him Hammy and took him everywhere with her around the house. Hammy loved to lay on his back and sleep while someone would hold him. If he wasn't laying on his back asleep, he would lay on his back and clean as long as someone would hold him.

The Napping Chair
My son used to love to grab a warm blanket and crawl up into my grandma's old rocking chair that was in his room to take a nap.

Heartbreaker
My son's preschool teacher took this picture of him while he was at preschool. When he brought it home one day, it almost made me cry. I took it and had it blown up in several sizes. I have to say, this is one of the most favorite layouts of mine that I have ever made. It still brings tears to my eyes when I look at it.

Sweet Success
Whenever I go shopping, I come home and put the groceries away. My dog, Zoey, always sniffs the bags looking for dog treats. She always drags them out of the bag and tries to open them instead of waiting on me. This time, she had "sweet success"!

Switch
My son and daughter decided to switch clothes and wear each others to see what they would look like. It was really funny and I was suprised that my daughter could fit into my sons clothes!

Pirate on Parade
For the school's fall party, the kids got to dress up in costumes and walk in a "parade" downtown. My daughter chose to be a pirate.

Pray (Son's Album)
When my son gets mad and throws a tantrum, he sometimes folds his hands like he is praying. It is so funny!

Pumpkin Cleaning (Son's Album)
Here is my son and daughter cleaning out the inside of their pumpkins. They were trying to get the seeds out to bake them. My son was scared of the inside of the pumpkin so I put some "slime" on his hand to show him that it was ok. After that, he stuck his hands in, but was never too thrilled about it as you can tell by the look on his face in the pictures.

Chuck E Cheese
This layout is for my daughter's album. I took her and my son to Chuck E Cheese and they had such a great time. The closest one is almost an hour away from our house so we don't get to go very often, but when we do, they always have so much fun!

Play (Daughter's Layout)
Here's my daughter's layout for when we went to the playground. Her and her brother had so much fun!
Play (Son's Layout)
I took these pictures while the kids were playing at the playground during the summer of 2007. The playground is one of the biggest I have seen. There is so much to do and they *LOVE* to go there!
You can't tell in the picture, but the circles are stuck down with pop dots and stick up off of the page and "Play" is glittered.

Project 365 Challenge
So, I have made up my mind and am going to *try* to participate in the 365 Project challenge from start to finish. For those of you who don't know what this is, basically, you take a picture a day of anything you want, for 365 days and scrap them. You can make 365 layouts (one for each picture), a weekly, or a monthly layout. The choice is up to you. I will most likely be doing daily and weekly layouts. I took my first picture of the New Year last night at 12:01 am of my 2 kids to start off my album in the right direction. I still need to get them developed though. I think this is going to be a fun but very challenging project. I may give this album to my parents as a gift when I am finished. I think they would *love* it!
Also, before I forget...Creative Keepsakes is also selling a kit that include everything (well, almost everything) to get you started. The kits are sold out right now, but more are supposed to be on the way. I personally didn't buy one since I have enough scrapping things in my stash to start my own scrapbook store, lol, but I think that it would be a great buy! If you are interested, here is the link:

And....here is the link to a very sweet lady's blog. She is offering the chance to win this kit for free! Please check it out and leave her a comment or 2!

Dandelion Seeds
Here is my son in our back yard blowing dandelion seeds. I just love these pictures of him! Once I showed him how the seeds would float away if you blew on them, he ran to each one, picked it and blew the seeds as fast as he could. It was so funny to watch him. I especially love his lips in the middle picture.
